(no subject)
Today's haul: Two blankets: one huge pink fluffy one (that was in one of those vacuum seal bag thingies) and a manlier white one with blue stripes. They both look safe. I can finally get rid of those old, faded, cigarette-burned blankets I have. (Yes, I said "cigarette burned," I've had these since Nik left; Missy thinks one of them was actually HER old one, meaning I've had it since we lived together in like 2002) A nice pair of slip-on shoes, a cell-phone belt clip thingie, anime wrapping paper (lol I have lots, I'll use it forever), one of those hanging closet shoe/whatever organizer things (*_* no more shoes in the floor!), a necklace/earring displayer in the shape of a "J" (even though I just bought that letter tray XD I will probably fill it up anyway)...
And the best find, a pet fountain! I just hooked it up and put it in the kitchen floor. I don't think any of them realize you can DRINK out of it. XD I introduced Bitsy to it first (since he's always right on my heels) and he was just like, "I dunno Jenn, I'm cool with drinking out of my ceramic bowl k"
Then I brought Sushi in. She circled it and stared intently, stuck her paw in and got it wet. Then Cassette came in. As fascinated as she is with water/the toilet/shower I think she'll probably love this. Last I checked she was loafed next to it, watching the little fountain trickle. Sushi wasn't as interested once Cass butted in, lol.
Cass occasionally tips over their watercooler thing because she is just an asshole and she likes how it burbles when she upsets it. Maybe this will curtail that urge (probably not, cats are assholes after all).
Oh I got a little chair too, now whenever I have to do a project on my table I don't have to pull it up to the couch like an idiot. :D
Everyone else got great finds too. Landon got a really nice suit jacket that fits him perfectly. They both got lots of pots/pans/hangers and... fuzzy pink handcuffs X3 Tom got lots of books and a puffy gangsta jacket that looks ridiculously endearing on him. Missy got some more clothes since she can almost fit into the stuff those tiny Asian girls discard XD
