Job numero dos has been procured! I am now also going to be working in Nashville (Indiana ;3) on the weekends. It'll be in a place called "New Leaf," which is a tiny jewelry shop run by an IU alum. It's really laid-back and I like the two people I met there already.
With that and the IMU job I should be bringing in at least 30 hours a week for sure. Hopefully I can get more, though with school this summer that will already keep me busy. Money will still be somewhat tight but I think I can at least squeak by. I'm thinking about slashing my commission prices, but it seems from the poll that I started on my DA page that most of the people who watch me there, at least, are just plain broke (or not interested and just too nice to say so ;3). With orientation and fall events coming up, however, I'm hoping my hours at the IMU go up. But I'm not in the habit of counting unborn chickens.
At least I'll be able to draw during my downtime at New Leaf :) It doesn't get crazy busy until the summer, so in the meantime I'll get to chill. Amy (the owner) also asked me if I'd be willing to work some of the jewelry making equipment too :D Sounds like fun to me!
I've been so inspired the last week! I have two images inked, ready to color when I have time. Though I have a still life that I need to get done ASAP since I won't have any time to finish it on Monday or Tuesday. I really don't feel like pulling one of them there all-nighters they talk about at
F Yeah Art Student Owl.
So now it's time for a shower and homework!
