I've been puttering away at commissions and stuff this weekend! bad_luck_bird, you're up next! I'm going to try and get a sketch to you within the next few days :) (I know, I know, "Take your time" ♥ )
I found a really awesome desk lamp at Goodwill for, like, five dollars. The Dollar Store lamp I was using before was literally giving me headaches, so I'm glad to have this. I bought my art supplies... The next thing I need to do is get my car in the shop. I'm pretty worried about what they're gonna tell me is wrong with it... Tuesday I'm going to get the career center stuff straightened out so I can log into IU's employment site. If I can just secure myself a part-time job, I'll be fine.
I ended up dropping the Retail Merchandising class, because it was really killing my availability and it didn't really seem like something I'd be interested in. All of the girls in that class were... well, preview versions of the type of women I used to work with at CJ Banks and such. A few years ago that class might have really caught my attention, but the mere thought of the corporate world in retail makes me shiver now.
So now I'm down to 13 hours and hopefully somebody will be willing to hire me. Or somehow I can garner enough commissions to make up the $2-3k I'm gonna need to get through the summer.
I brewed my first pot of coffee today. X3 it wasn't bad. I bought chocolate coffee and vanilla/caramel creamer. I am now really jittery, lmao. But the dog keeps waking me up too damn early in the morning.
