Learned some new words today...
obdurate~ sutbborn, unyielding
inconoclast~ person who attacks religious beliefs
shibboleths~ long standing formula held to be true by a party (still need this one explained)
dogmatic~ asserting or imposing personal opinions
contumacious~ rebellious, insubordinate
mulish~ stubborn, obstinate
idiosyncratic~ eccentric, peculiar, highly individualized
These are all words that describe me by the way, save for the shibboleths one. My friend got this long paper that's supposed to be a description of Aquarians. It freaked mme out because it was word for word accurate. I had to look up psome words (the above ones) though.
