“Hae…”
Donghae blinked his eyes.
“Hae…?”
The boy blinked his eyes once more, playing the PSP that he ‘borrowed’ from Kyuhyun no matter with or without permission. Kyuhyun was away for his schedule and for the first time ever, he actually left his PSP at the dorm, unguided, or locked in his room. Donghae found it lying around on the dining table, unattended so he might as well make good use of it.
It was a groan this time and still Donghae didn’t notice it, too engrossed in the game of slashing zombies. Even after the whole re-run of ‘The Walking Dead’ it was not enough for Donghae and his pathetic excuse that he was ‘zombie-deprived’.
“Lee Donghae!” Eunhyuk snapped.
“What?!” he paused the game and looked up to see Eunhyuk pouting, his arms crossed across his chest.
“Seriously Hae…You a-”
Donghae went back to his game since it took Eunhyuk a split second too late to start his ‘speech’.
“You need fresh air; the PSP is doing you no good. See what it did to Kyu.” Eunhyuk announced and pulled Donghae out of the dorm. The park near the building was empty, just nice for the two of them to walk while the others returned from their schedule. Shindong was free but he was out somewhere to a date and Ryeowook wanted to finish off some project work.
“So, you know yesterday during Sukira; it was hilarious. Teukie-hyung he…Hae?”
“Um yeah?”
“Are you even listening?”
“Of course, Teukie-hyung…” Donghae replied, nonchalantly but Eunhyuk didn’t notice that, the incident where their leader make the whole station bursting out in laughter was more important and Donghae must hear about it.
“Like I was saying, Teukie-hyung he…” Eunhyuk started and from the corner of his eyes he saw Donghae already wandering off somewhere else. He was squatting over something near the bench. Eunhyuk stomped his foot and went to Donghae.
“What is it?”
“Look at this pretty flower, it is so white. I think Teukie-hyung would love it.”
“Sure sure. We should sit then.” Eunhyuk nodded at the bench and the two sat down. Because it was cold, Donghae stuffed his hand in his jacket pocket, snuggling close to Eunhyuk, giving and receiving warmth. For a while, Eunhyuk wasn’t that mad that his best friend didn’t listen to him. He decided to start telling his story all over again.
“Look at that butterfly!”

Yesung returned home that night and found Eunhyuk in the living room, staring at empty space, well the empty flat screen actually. He very obviously heard Yesung returning but he didn’t budge an inch to greet the older male, which, if it was Heechul or Leeteuk, Eunhyuk would already be bombarded by a bunch of questions why he didn’t find the courtesy to at least say ‘hi’ to whoever came home. On top of that, Yesung was the ‘hyung’ of the 11th floor.
“Hey, Hyuk…”
Eunhyuk just nodded and Yesung jumped right onto the couch, very obviously trying to annoy the one on the couch.
“Hyung!” Eunhyuk gritted through his teeth.
“What’s bothering you now? You’re lucky I’m not Heechul-hyung, seriously.”
“Hae’s the problem; Heechul-hyung should go after him! I don’t understand how Chul-hyung can stand that guy actually! I mean, Chul-hyung’s all short-tempered and Hae is simply…”
“Hae’s what?”
“He’s…” Eunhyuk was thinking really hard what he wanted to say.
“Hae’s a fish?” Yesung was attempting to crack a joke.
“YES! That!” Eunhyuk jumped up from the couch, throwing his fist in the air then sitting back down on the couch next to a very confused Yesung. Apparently, the joke's on Yesung.
“Hae? A fish?”
“Yes, he’s got attention span of a freaking goldfish!”
“You should see how much attention tortoises can give you…” Yesung snorted and left Eunhyuk in the living room.

A/N : Heechul seriously favors Hae more than any of his dongsaengs. Something short since I'm idea-deprived. I think I'm driving away my readers with my failed attempt of keeping them here with only one-shots! *_*
