Kimball! It's Kara! I have some things for you, as promised.

First of all, I don't know if you get the "Grand Rapids Fall Recreation Guide" mailed to you, but I was looking through it, and they are offering a belly dancing class! It starts the week of September 18 and runs for ten weeks. It's every Monday at 6-6:55 or 7-7:55. I'm signing up for the 6 o'clock. It's $36. Registration for classes is August 7-25. If you are down for it, but don't have the packet (with the registration form), I'll get you the info.

They're both good, but this woman breeds a lot of rats with markings (like hoods, spots, etc) which I think is extra-cute.

If you do decide to get rats, I'm a pretty good source on food/cages/how to take care of them and all that, so just ask!

thank you. i'm excited about the classes on belly dancing. actually we do get the mailing and i was looking at it today. i get out of class at 4:15 and will be able to do the 6 o'clock as well. yeah! we are going to be some hot mama's. we should get make some grass skirts or veils to add to the allure ;)
i'm still thinking about the rats. i have mixed feelings about taking on that kind of responsibility since i plan on teaching abroad next year, but thanks for the info. it will be here if i decide to.
i also really want to go to the michigan renaissance festival. if you want to go sometime before school starts that would be sweet. i'm still working on the attire, but i can throw anything together if it comes down to it.
For the gypsy, i'm thinking Vadoma from Russia, meaning to rule with peace, Lala from Bulgaria which means a tulip, or Zoraida~Arabian, meaning enchanting woman??? I don't know tra la la. <3

Yay! Our soon-to-be-roommate Lara is going to take the class with us, too!

The earliest I was going to go to the Ren Fest was the weekend of the 20th. The only catch is that I have to go into town for my friend AJ's wedding, and I am going to the Ren Fest as sort of a bonus, heh. If you wanted to come with me, that would probably be okay, since I don't have a date to the wedding, anyway, haha. And it'd be a weekend trip, because of the wedding and all. If you can't make that, I'm planning on taking Katherine Regimbal once school starts, and you could go with us then. :)
