Long day today, tomorrow looks like it will be even longer. I want to plop down on the couch and zone out in front of the boob tube, but I have things that need to be done. Tons of laundry, dishes, general house cleaning. Bleh...
Work is exploding in volcanic measures. I am down two analysts now. The one that was supposed to start Monday was stolen by my Big Boss for a Gov job. I'm not really all that upset about it, it really is a good opportunity for her. My problem analyst gave her notice yesterday. Again not all that upset, I knew it was coming. Though I am concerned for the one full time analyst I have left and the Lead I share with the legacy program. It looks like work is going to be longer and more tedious than normal for all of us. My goal is be as supportive of the girls as possible and not overload them. I am meeting with my full timer and the one that is leaving for turn over late tomorrow morning. I have another early morning to hopefully finish up my submission that was due today. My supervisor thankfully gave me an extension. Then its off to one contractor site to finish the amendment submission. Then over to the other Contractor site for turn over and I will probably just work there the rest of the day. Though I would probably get more done if I went back to the office. Eh I guess I will just play that part by ear.
We had a good weekend. The resort was cheesy but we made the most of it and ended up having a really good time and meeting some great people.
I have not been to TKD since last Tuesday, but my schedule and M's practices have not allowed for it.
I have lots of stuff I want to get down in writing but to be honest I am too exhausted after today to write coherently for much longer. So I am heading to bed.
