Cedar Point Trip '08
So... This weekend was interesting...
I'll start with Saturday morning... Early Saturday morning... I went directly from work to kitkitsouji87's house. I'd been up since nine on Friday, so I was kinda tired. I picked up both her and boldsirrobin. We started on our way.
The trip was fairly uneventful. Lots of heat lightning and a scattered shower were the only thing that made it difficult. We had to do a U-turn to get back onto the proper path. (I really wish I had a GPS.)
We got to the hotel. It was one of those cool ones that are kinda outdoors. It reminded me of the Karate Kid. I was waiting for "Mr. Miagi" to pop out from a doorway or something... T_T We were meeting up with mahoubunnybell.
I was tired, but we didn't go to sleep until approximately 3:30... I can't sleep in hotels... Dozing was okay, though.
Cedar Point was fun. Not too crowded for a Saturday, surprisingly. We rode many rides. I didn't get to try the Maverick, but that's okay. I'll try it later. I don't think that one will be disappearing any time soon.
Had some Hibachi-style food. Not quite as good as Fuji Oishi or Shintos, but it wasn't too bad.
The only bad news: I got a sunburn... (It's kinda painful, but it doesn't cover as much as I thought. I burn funny... T_T), poor kitkitsouji87 is in pain, too, and poor mahoubunnybell and boldsirrobin have hurt feet...
I really wanna go back next year, though. I really would like to stay on the island, but Breakers is expensive. Hopefully, we'll be able to stay longer...
I really wish that I was doing something for my birthday. I have to work all week, because I took off the weekend. My next day off isn't until Monday next week... T_T
