ColossalCon 2008: quick rememberance
Yeah... To put it simply... Colossal Con 2008 sucked...
If you weren't there, be glad. You didn't get to hear me whine almost the entire time... You also weren't shoved against the wall, made to stand two inches from a gamer who HADN'T washed up all weekend, and forced to not take pictures, 'cause the halls were too crowded.
The Hilton will not be allowing Colossal Con back. It has gotten too big for its britches. It needs a convention hall hotel, not a ballroom-ed hotel. Artist Alley needs its own room not a hallway that people can't even walk down.
The fact that the most comfortable place was outside should say something.
So yeah... Suckage. Not going back. Probably won't go back even if it DOES move to a convention hall hotel. $25 was not worth the hassle. No more. You are now permanently scratched from my list of conventions... Bye bye! Your ship has sailed. Never to have me on it, again.
