PR S13 Ep 5

This challenge is: Heidi has nothing to wear and she needs a red carpet look. Since the look has already been on the red carpet and splashed across some fashion blogs, I already know which one won. But okay. “Unexpected, fashion forward, fearless.” And blinking with crystal and Christmas lights. JUST KIDDING.

Kini made a basic dress. It was also far classier than anything Heidi has EVER worn. His missed the mark because he made a dress that his client would never wear.

Hahhahah it's funny cuz it's true. As I said in the review, if the show is basically catering to Heidi-type taste, it would explain a lot. Amanda has been throwing in a lot of bright and shiny and extra moving stuff, hasn't she?

Lindsey Vonn, the judge. She's an Olympic skiier who tried to make a comeback on a bum knee, cracked her knee again and was done.

I thought Fade's would have done fine on the red carpet - depends on the event. I think it should have done well for this one.

I don't mind side notes at all!

I think they're planning to bring back C Soriano again sometime soon. I wish they'd hire his ass for the permanent panel. Just so long as they don't bring back a muppet. That was low, even for PR.

I'll be sure to notice the refrigerator for sure from now on!

I always liked Tim, but I was never a fan per se. I get what you mean - he doesn't seem to be really there for the designers. He was always great on mediating and seeing the best in whomever he was working with at the moment and really helping with design - maybe they're cutting some of that? Or maybe, like Zac and Nina, he's being forcefed what he's supposed to say?

Man, I really miss the days of Santino and Andre.

Siriano is coming back because he has a reality show to promote. I think he is very smart in that he knows how to play the game. When he was trying to get into CFDA he kind of downplayed his reality tv start. However he never dissed Project Runway. He also made smart low end deals like his Payless shoe deal. These help fund the flights of fancy high end collections. He has also been very smart about getting the right celebs to wear his clothing. I know some feel that Jillian should have won his season, but I think he had the right amount of talent and go get em that has helped him catapult to success.

Ooh, CR has his own show? AWE. SUM.

I've always loved him - he's super talented. Yeah, I kinda get the Payless reason - I know he'd get good experience and funding. But ugh, Payless shoes. I'm such a snob - I actually think he's been very smart about approaching his career.

I think it may be based off a UK show.

Cool, thank you! It sounds interesting, though this:

"As we continue to raise the bar across all of our programming, unscripted is playing an important role in placing Lifetime in the cultural zeitgeist and introducing the network to the next generation of our viewers," stated Rob Sharenow, executive vice president and general manager at Lifetime, to The Hollywood Reporter.

makes me want to throw things. At Mr. Sharenow.

If you watch the Emmys he has his dresses on a LOT of the ladies here. Man is good at his business!

Tim's tone has change since he became executive producer. Basically PR is now his and Heidi's baby.

Yeah, it's odd. He's no longer the nice uncle of the show. He's... something else. I can't quite figure it out.
