I've been doing a lot of quilting and painting lately, as well as taking on guardianship of a 15 year old. My ex-neighbor's daughter is my babysitter, and she was attempting to "move-in" with her b-friend in RR... into a ONE bedroom apt with her 15 year old!!!! In the mean time, she was leaving this 15 year old alone in her old duplex with no electricity, no gas and no phone line. I finally had enough and took over. She's doing well now, getting good grades, and just a good girl all the way around. She still sees her mom some weekends, but unfortunatly her mom just isn't around.
Justin is sprouting again... Somethings are getting harder with him though. For example, he will come home after a weekend with his father and say "But my daddy says..." or "But my dad says I can..." *sighs* I just tell him that it's good to listen to daddy but when he's at mommy's house, he HAS to listen to Mommy too.
C'est la vie.
Jimmy and I had "the talk" the other night. Not about marriage, but about moving in together. I think we've worked through some major milestones in our relationship, and this is time for "make or break" so to speak. He's buying a house in Kyle soon, so we'll see.
Work is good, but stressful as always. I can't really complain, I have a paycheck coming in, right?
I need to climb back into the real world again.... but I have to admit I've been enjoying the hermit life a bit. :-p
