Note to self... I think I may have found my new Roswell.
Prison Break
For me, the scenes with Caroline & Michael were the best.
Caroline and Terrence always gave me a weird vibe, but I didn't see the 'cest thing coming.
So, Sucre will help Bellick find the $5 million, it'll be all water under the bridge and they'll have a fiesta down in Mexico. Since there's no pardon, Michael & Linc will fly south and join the fun. Seriously, Season 3 should turn into a sitcom: 3 Cons, 1 C.O. & a Baby. Throw in the junkie, if Sara decides to go along.
Heroes
The new girl is a shape shifter. Cool! Roswell will never really leave me, will it?
Claire is in safe hands with Mama Petrelli. That woman kicks ass!
I love how close Nathan & Peter are. Yeah, I know... the slashers love it too.
Linderman has a face... and it's Malcolm McDowell!
Sylar & Peter finally confront each other, and now we must wait 6 WEEKS to find out what happens? Brutal cliffhanger.
The Black Donnellys
Wow!
Powerful and dark scenes with Tommy cutting up the body and Kevin puking his guts out. Blood is splattered over Tommy's ripped torso. Did I mention they were both semi-naked? (Tommy wears tighty-whities & Kevin wears boxers, if you must know.) Then there's a wrestling match on the ground, because Tommy thinks Kevin stole some of the ransom money and is hiding it on his adorable little body. They are dressed at this point... but, OMG the slashers are in slasher heaven. The next morning Tommy pay a visit to Jenny's diner and proceeds to have really hot sex with the girl who professed her love for him. Then while he's lying in bed marinating in his orgasmic afterglow, she takes it all away by saying they can't do this anymore. And he's thinking, but we already did. And, they both know why she's saying it... because she's married. Even though, SHE doesn't know hubby isn't on a field trip, he's been murdered and dumped somewhere. He's dead, dead, DEAD! Tommy and the rest of the gang know this, but don't have the heart to tell her. I'm sure that Daddy Reilly saying the Donnelly boys were bad, bad, BAD didn't help. But, she had to have a little piece of her Tommy anyway. Oh, Jenny... you selfish girl. Yeah, I know... she cleaned up the blood, yo. That was very noble and loyal. I guess that shows us how far she'll go to save her man. But, would she leave the door unlocked so he could escape the prison? (Sorry, a little PB humour.)
These are little snippets of what could be a really good show. And, yet the ratings are even worse than last week. This show should be on cable, not NBC. Which brings me back to Roswell, again. It too had a slow start, and was really kept afloat by a strong cult following. And, even though these two shows are completely different, I get the same vibe from TBD as I did Roswell. The chemistry between Tommy & Kevin and Tommy & Jenny is awesome. Reminds me of Max & Michael and Max & Liz. I thought I would be more annoyed with Joey Ice Cream's continual narration, but he provides some well needed comic relief. And, Mama Donnelly is the glue that binds them all together.
I hope this show can find a following, because I'm really enjoying it so far.
