Peire & I have returned from our journeying, although tomorrow after work we will be doing the work of laundry, cleanup and exhaustion recovery instead of going to dance practice. I am about to go to bed myself, and I greatly look forward to being finally in my own bedroom instead of in another hotel.
Today's walk took place once again at the Sergeant Jasper park outside of Hardee SC, which is a truly lovely little place with a nice half-mile trail (I walk it twice, of course) and a really first class frisbee golf course. If you ever happen to be passing through the southern tip of South Carolina, you can find it off of I-95, exit 8. I am extremely pleased at being able to get through the whole vacation and not miss a single day of walking.
You may or may not know this, but my brother John has entered FSU's law program -- which means that every now and then he regales us with amusing law suits that he has learned about. This week's funny litigation is
Mayo v. Satan & His Staff. I found this utterly hilarious. John has said he'd love to make short films about this and other amusing cases that he hears about in his classes; something along the lines of those Walter Cronkite "You Are There!" shorts I would see back in the day.
But now, it's 11pm and I've got to actually work tomorrow. So it's time for beddy-bye!
