Hard Work Today!
Today was my first day back at work after a three day weekend courtesy of the wild & wooly weather we've had of late. Thankfully there were no significant things down or ruined, but my coworkers and I had a lot of raking debris, cleaning out animal pens/coops, airing mattresses and palmetto mats, that kind of thing. Not too many visitors today, but I think that was just as well, with all the stuff we had to do to make the place look shipshape again.
I also did my civic duty this morning, by showing up at the voting polls right at 7:00am to cast my ballot for various local/regional offices. AND I was a good girl after dinner, making my daily 1 mile round trip trek to Publix and back!
So now I'm kicking back for a lazy evening. I've earned it, darn it all.
