More Cleaning! (And Shopping!)
So, I am in the midst of my late Spring Cleaning. I am making some good headway on getting my bedroom into a presentable state, and brother John's former bedroom comes next. It's just begging for some dusting. Once I have gotten the upstairs of my townhouse decently clean, the final stage of cleaning will occur: The Sewing Room. I really need to get that room rid up so that I can do some actual sewing in it.
I went shopping at Goodwill yesterday, and picked up some jeans (yes, I know -- I never wear jeans. However, there have been friends of mine who have mentioned a desire to go horseback riding, and that requires some decent trousers), a couple of broomstick skirts, and...combat boots! I got a lovely pair of boots that will do me well for SCA combat archery. I had been thinking that such footgear might run me $50 at an Army/Navy surplus store, but no -- these babies fit perfectly, and they cost only $7!
Today, however, the most fearsome shopping comes -- bathing suit shopping. I'm very afraid.
