Writer's Block: Dream On
Wow! I have the most vivid dreams. Ever since I was a young girl. My dreams are usually violent. But, I watch a lot of action and fight movies. I used to dream about Japanese mafia coming to kill me. Or about some type of murder.
My dreams are also prophetic. In 7th grade I dreamt that Bruce, the hall monitor, died of a heart attack in the lunch room. In 8th grade, he died of a heart attack (at home). Two years ago, I dreamt that Cara was killed by a stalker. We had not seen eachother in years. I awoke and called her...she had just filed a restraining order on the janitor in her building. He was stalking her!
Many many more like that. I've learned to embrace them. These dreams influence so much of my writing :-)
