Lent
Lent starts tomorrow. Never before have I given something up for lent but I want to this year. I have decided that I will be giving up wearing jewelery. That is going to be so hard. I will need to wear it on Saturday if I work the Trunk Show for Yours Truly. Other than that for 40 days I will be without jewelery. Dang! I am also going to give up facebook. So if people want to get a hold of me leave a note her or send and e-mail or calll or even stop by. Ok, I have stuff to do. Later.
PS, in giving these things up I hope to have a little more time for God. I also hope to see how little need there is for these worldly things so when I do them again I will be a bit more chill about them. Lastly it is going to remind me that when I suffer I can be reminded of how Christ suffered. Of course Christ suffering was far greater then what mine will be. Well see how this goes. If you see me on facebook or wearing jewelery feel free to remind me of my promise. Hopefully that won't be a problem though.
