(no subject)
So, I saw RENT this weekend. It was definetely a highlight of my life. Tiana, Nick, William, Richard, Sam, Ryan, Cheyenne, and of course my mommy all went! Tiana, William, and I all brought blankets. Definetely fun! I cried, Nick cried, Tiana cried, Cheyenne cried. Everyone else doesn't have a soul. Just kidding. ♥
I've kind of been neglecting my livejournal for awhile. It's alright I doubt it missed me very much. Still, I just felt as if I needed to post so here it is. You don't have to comment, though it would be nice to know people are actually reading this. You know what screw it, comment if you are actually reading this please..and thank you. ♥
It was my daddy's birthday today! He's the big 4-0! We ate dinner at Alice Coopertown..my idea. It was incredibly good. I'm glad we could take my dad out for his birthday. He's so unselfish all the time. He never really goes out. I'm glad we can do this for him. ♥
Christmas is coming up! Who's excited? Then again, I've been thinking lately that Christmas isn't really Christmas anymore. It's all about the gifts. For me, it's about the family. I still carry on the tradition of waking up extra early and creeping into my parents' room with my sister. Oh, and every Christmas Eve we watch The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's been our tradition for a while which was only broken once. That was my fault. :-( I can remember one Christmas, I woke up at like 2 o' clock and went into my parent's room. Of course I wanted to open presents right then but my mommy told me to go back to sleep. So, I sat in that bed for five hours and did not sleep a wink. At the time I could also swear I saw Santa Claus in my room. I miss being a little kid where Christmas was monumental. now, it's like just another one of those days. I can revive the Christmas spirit I think. No I don't think..I will. ♥
Did you ever notice that nowadays when people ask you what you want for something the answer is either money or " I dunno." When we were kids we could name at least 50 things that we wanted. Is it because we were greedy. No, I think it's because nowadays, we want things that are too expensive. When we were kids we would jump up and down and scream because we got a little pop gun or a Barbie doll. Now it's like, IPOD, STEREO, THE WORLD. Yet when people actually get you gifts. It means a lot more than a gift card. It means they took the time to actually think about what you'd want. Now, granted I'm guilty of cash giving too. Still, I think I'll try to actually GIVE gifts not cash. Unless it's like sudden otherwise I'll be like, " Uhhhh cash!"♥
Anyway, just felt like updating. Yet looking up..this post is actually meaningful. My cat is a little demon. Random, but she is. She's so cute though. I'll post a picture later. Love you guys! You know that. I say it enough. ♥
