Ugh. Tonight's birthday dinner with my mother was both very nice, and very awful. Details later... maybe.
My brother is still a douche. I'm nominating him for Oldest Attractive Virgin Douche in KY award. I'm sure he'd win it hands-down.
God bless Mom. She has no idea I've become tricksy, and only challenged her to a tequila-downing contest to see how far she'd lowered her standards. According to Melinda, who was a friend from way back that she recently made up with who was there tonight (who looked like she'd actually gotten younger since I last saw her eight years ago), that was nothing. Le sigh.
I'll check my e-mails in the next day or two. I haven't been in the greatest place lately and am trying to avoid sinking lower.
