Whee. My computer is so ghetto. I have 256 MB RAM and a 60 GB HD partitioned into a 14.9 GB C: and a 40.9 GB D:. *pets the Viaotower* I love her, though. She's been good to me these last 10 years.
So I'm going to be off the creditor's list 10/11, and ran the figures again. Minus $500+ for b-day and X-mas presents until March and minus $850 towards a new computer in January, I'll have both cards fully paid off 02/22/08, which is awesome. Then Chris and my lease is up the end of March, and we'll be looking for a house. So I should be a debt-free homeowner with a car, a cellphone, cable and internet and a new computer by my birthday. And NO ONE else in my family can say that. So I will be on cloud 39. *^_^* I may actually consider having tons o' self-esteem. I'm certainly gonna have a huge b-day party with lots o' hooch, and as soon as I find a place big enough to have it, everyone's invited. And it'll be my 25th birthday, and what better way to start a new quarter-century of my life?
Of course, then it's back to school, but I'll be able to afford pick me ups when I get down, and I'll have Chris, and the cats, and a puppy, and no dark cloud of parental stress around, so hopefully it'll go alot more smoothly. And THIS time I won't have my parents forcing me to overextend myself with classes. "We're paying for you to go full-time, which means any extra classes are free, so you should make the most of it and take 18 hours!" Piss off! I'll take 6 credit hours if I want to, and you have no say. And I probably won't graduate until I'm 29, but I'll STILL be the first person in my family with a college degree! Bonus self-esteem points. I might even be in danger of becoming an egotistical bastard. Wait - that's Chris' job. *^_^* I'm sure he won't like the competition, and will keep me in check.
Beware, Jody! I may hound you into leaving the kids behind for a couple of days to fly up and visit!!! <3
