(no subject)
Today has been a bit crazy. Intention was: take cats to vets. take Stewart to work. drive to Suffolk, start weekend of going through my childhood (in preparation for the house coming down).
Ended up leaving an hour later than intended due to cats/vets/stewart/car/work taking longer than intended. Got to my parents house at about 1pm. Had coffee with faery_jen.
We spent about 3/4 hours sorting through old things (more on that later, with photos). Started on the wine at about 4pm.
Then my mum arrived home.
Chatting.
Drinks.
Chatting.
Dad arrived home.
Drinks.
Chatting.
Cooking.
Having dinner. With wine.
Chatting (with wine).
Dessert.
Tea.
.....
Cocktails.
... It's now after midnight. I've done my very very best not to drink *too* much 0:) ......
I suppose I'm lucky that I get this opportunity to actually clear out things from my childhood (everything from baby to early uni work), but it really is difficult. I've found quite a few things that I was convinced I'd lost (or lent, left in places, sold, traded etc.) I'll probably be posting photos of the most entertaining and/or incriminating bits when I'm done.
