house
So, the house itself is generally cool. Having some teething problems though. Have only just got the washing machine plumbed in properly (they got it up here and then left us to sort it out). Finally got a proper plumber round to fix it. The shower leaked into next door's bedroom the first time we used it. Plumber Man says the tiles need replacing. Could take a few days to get someone round :(
Oh, and apparently the vibrations from their washing machine used to trip the fuse for the electrics (!!) There seem to be a lot of things that they just put up with and can't see why we have a problem with it. Although I have a suspicion that it was the shower shorting the electrics, and nothing to do with the washing machine.
Just want to be settled in one house right now. Hate the. fact that I'm going to have to go back the the old house tomorrow morning to shower and wash my hair. Really hope they can fix it before we have to give the keys back on Sunday.
On the upside, we're going to ikea tonight for kitchen chairs and possibly squishy furnishings.
I'm now going to cook some broccoli for the snails, and look forward to the fact that the car has music.
