what is it about love that holds such appeal to people? why does everyone want to be someonjes other half? it seems so pointless.we're just setting ourselves up for heartbreak... every once in a while, two poeple find eachother and realize they are "soulmates". but lets face it, this almost never happens. plus half the time people get to gether and maybe, just maybe they really are soulmates, but because one or the other, hell maybe even both, is obstinate or just wants to control their own "destiny" the two part ways. however, in instances like this, the two never really reach clousure. the past fucks with their minds and they are never the same. maybe not consiously, they compare all future "mates" objectively to the one that they felt such a connection with. and they ask themselves, 'why don't i feel the passion? where is the feeling' they know the answer is glaring them in the eye, but once again, faced with the truth, thwy choose their own ignorance and remain disilusioned about the hope that they will find "the one" someday. i dont even know why people search for love anymore. in this modern day world, we're basically determined to fuck up whatever good thig cmes for us. so why even bother?
