That's what this weekend has been so far. First off, my cat Charlene, whom I have had since I was three years old, died on Friday. She was pretty sick and hadn't been eating or drinking, so Mary Ann took her to the vet. The vet basically said that she had gi problems and her kidneys were shutting down, so instead of letting her suffer we had her put down. I was very sad, as was Rob who had basically adopted Charlene as his own. It was her time, though. She was a good cat and she will be missed dearly. We're going to start looking for a new siamese kitten after finals are over. I wanted to get another siamese to honor her memory, and hopefully she'll bring just as much joy to our lives as Charlene did.

On a lighter note, today was the anime convention. I dressed as a ninja, and to those who are interested in my outfit, Chris will have the pictures up soon. I got lots of neat stuff. Some guy at one of the booths gave me a discount on some disease plushies because I was so cute. This other guy even did a little happy dance for me so I would buy something. Rob looked really cute in his Inuyasha ears, too. He bought me a Catbus plushie from My Neighbor Totoro. That one is my favorite of all the stuff I got. I have wanted a Catbus ever since I first saw the movie way back when I was in high school. It was a fun time.

Next week is going to suck royally. I have to study for finals all week. Both are on Friday, and I have a makeup test the following Thursday. Fun...not
