Seriously Nintendo What The Hell

Okay, so technically Over The Top Games were the developers, but I thought it would be a good subject line. /shot
So, on WiiWare, there is apparently a game coming out called NyxQuest coming out. All well and good, except the heroine is a random winged being called Nyx, is searching for her friend Icarus (who apparently did not get into trouble/die a horrible death through his own stupidity) and trying to defeat the "evil sun god Helios."
Makes me dizzy just thinking about it, and right after I used up my handwaving power on dismissing the logic of Ice Age 3 as being a completely lot cause, too.
Why do I have to become aware of these things right after completely overdosing on stories from greek mythology, arghhhh?
Or maybe it's not as bad as I thought, and there's a reveal later on in the game or somesuch...
Ehh, it just bothers me a little, because the plot/use of characters seems to make very little sense to me. If you're wondering what in the world I'm rabbiting on about, 'tis here.

Seriously, from what I've seen from The Fool's P3 playthrough, even that's got a far better grasp of greek mythology. Can't comment on anything aside from my compendium progress in P4, since I haven't the foggiest clue about Japanese mythology/Shinto/etc at all.
Hopefully the Encyclopedia of Mythology I got will rectify that.
Also Thomas Bulfinch's Age of Fable is a great resource, which I have in paperback, whoo. ♥

mythology is fun too, atlus games, rant
