Thumb rings and journal skins.
Firstly, yes, journal skin spring clean change! I'll be making my tags more coherant, too, as well as the title and tagline change.
As much as I absolutely love the works of Edgar Allen Poe (especially "The System of Doctor Tarr and Mister Fether" which is just as bizarre and crazy as one would want) the Nevermore skin made me think of gibbets and hanged men, which is not ideal for maintaining a sunny disposition.
After all, I am a complete idiot for weird objects and the colour purple.
Gotta get some new icons, hmm.
I'm trying to get my webcam to work so I can take a picture of the right thumb ring I made out of copper wire yesterday evening. It looks terribly uncomfortable to wear, but it's actually not. (Well, I suppose it is fitted personally, so that only makes sense. )
It won't fit any other finger quite properly except my right thumb. Actually, I used a spare length of wire from my art project for the 3D piece. Another girl is using wire, too. She said she keeps accidentally stabbing her fingers with it, but I've had no such bad luck. :3 I'm gonna wear it tomorrow!
Also, for being curious, you get a picture of the infamous purple hat, rendered a bizarrely blue colour instead of the rich plum it actually is.
(Okay, so "rich plum" is a bit much. XDD )
