[Celes whirls around to face the person in her backyard. If he's expecting embarrassment, there isn't an iota of it. She puts her sword away and tosses her hair off her shoulders.]

Do you normally trespass?

[Somehow, Celes is not surprised. She puts her hands on her hips.] At least you're honest about it. Are you looking for the man that lives here? He's at work.

I... see. Well, there isn't anything of interest, I'm afraid. I was only practicing. Might I have your name? [She's in such a good mood that she's even being polite for once. SOMEONE STOP THE PRESSES.]

Lancer. [Celes tilts her head, and examines him coolly. She knows what a flirt sounds like, Lancer. Have you met the King of Figaro?] A pleasure to meet you. I would hope my form is more than good. I've been doing this for... a very long time.

I assume you mean the clothing, the irritating minutiae of the passing days, the fact one cannot leave despite what one tries? [She holds her skirt out to the side as an example as she talks.] I agree completely.

[No, but they could be bros. Celes raises her eyebrows.] Mmmhmm... Well, I think I know of one other that shares your... sentiments? But I do not. There are worse things that fighting in dresses.

[Suddenly, Celes is glad that the Minerva Bustier did not come in the mail.] How good to know! I prefer plate, myself. Chainmail has this terrible habit of not being quite enough protection.
