How Not to Be Insane When Accused of Racism (A Guide for White People). I haven't encountered this before. I think I'll be referring to it often.

I've come across it a couple different times. Depending on how I'm feeling that day, it either reads as really good advice or really patronizing. Then again, I guess it depends which situation you're applying it to, because I've had both happen (a case where I unintentionally said something racist, in which case it IS really good advice, and then a case where I was dealing with nutballs, in which case there IS NO GOOD ADVICE).

But there are nutballs everywhere! Visit bighollywood.com if you don't believe me. Better yet, believe me and don't visit Big Hollywood.

LOLZ YES.

That's what I like about this list, though, there's also 'sometimes things will be bullshit. it's okay to let this go!' Because dude, there are crazies everywhere, for sure.

True. You have to allow for that clause because goddamn if there ain't some crazy people on the nets and IRL - people who think it's perfectly appropriate to take their 'fight against racism' into your personal journal or whatever. Stuff like that makes me see the logic behind Friends Only journals.
