Ageha from RH Plus, the icon I used to comment with (which probably doomed me to A). He's the sweetest, most innocent bloodsucker you'll ever meet. There's a gentleness about him, and just just kind of adorable most of the time.
Alfonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. Another sweet, gentle spirit, though Al's spine is made of steel both literally and metaphorically.
Anne of Green Gables, because chash made me think of her. She's plucky! The prototype of a bunch of alternately awesome and annoying Plucky Redheads to follow, I wish I'd read her books when I was a kid, though I enjoyed reading them later.
Andy French from Mission Hill, my new favorite cartoon. Tragically only 13 episodes long, the show is funny and sweet. Andy's the weakest link in the bunch, really, but he's the central characters the wackiness revolves around.
Abby Sciuto from NCIS. NCIS is set up as a standard formula show-- a little forensics, a little military stuff-- but what rises it above that 'mystery of the week' setup is the enormous strength of its characters. Abby is the the Goth Science Chick and she wears crazy outfits and awesome hair and likes to blast her music at ear-jarring volume when she's in the lab. One of my favorite episodes has a dog that's suspected of attacking its owner, and she gets totally attached to him and runs around with him and...it's just awesome, mmkay? She's a little too Magical Pixie Girl at times, but they avoid that trap by not having her save people-- just solve cases.
