Shipswap! Come sign up for shipswap! I mean, if you want. Here's my letter anyway.
In general: I like humor, drama, snark, romance, smiling in the face of absurdity. I'm a sucker for AUs, including but not limited to canon AUs. I asked for art 'cause I like art. Your style is probably something I'll like!
Here are some things I don't like: Character bashing/needless sideswipes at characters, noncon, infidelity. I read some dubcon but am weirdly fussy about it, so if you don't already know me it'd probably be easiest not to write it.
The Librarians
I love the great 'let's toss everything in a pile and have fun with it' feel the show has, and that all the Librarians In Training are perfect for the job in a very different way than Flynn is. I like that it doesn't seem tied to any one conceptual idea of magic or myth or...well, anything (though clearly King Arthur and company existed).
Okay, so Cassandra/Lamia and Cassandra/Eve are pretty much canon in the Cassandra!Librarian-verse, right? I mean, right? My preference would definitely be for something set in that odd-ass timeline, but I'm also fine with foe!yay for Cassandra/Lamia or something else with Cassandra/Eve, because that last episode made me ship it and ship it good. I love the modern fantasy feel of that universe.
I like Ezekiel/Cassandra for the way Ezekiel--for all his self-absorption--always steps up and tries to help her through the fuzzy points, and that she brings out the best in him. (And that, with her betraying the team early on, they have a certain amount of...moral softness in common.) Having them sneak a kiss during a mission or just the two of them sneaking around would be great for art.
Ezekiel/Jake is sort of the opposite of that--Jake at his worst gets shirty about artwork! ARTWORK! He's such a white hat, and Ezekiel is so not. Having them working together or furiously making out...either...both...you get the idea. And I love the thought of Ezekiel discovering something and surprising Jake with it, legally or not.
As for other ships, Eve/Flynn is fine if you want to work it in there (I pretty much ship everyone, these are just my favorites). I don't like cheating, so if you do an Eve pairing, just...break them up or ignore him or whatever. (Now I'm picturing Flynn hiding around the corner shouting "IGNORE ME!" Oh dear.) Snotty one-liners from Jenkins are A++. (I half-ship Ezekiel/Jenkins for similar reasons as Ezekiel/Jake, but they weren't in the tagset, so nevermind about that. You could sneak a little UST in there somewhere. I wouldn't complain.)
Young Avengers
Both the first and second series are great in my book. I loved the new team but still missed Cassie and Eli. I was a big Marvel fangirl back in the day but kind of fell away from comics, and YA reminded me of why I loved them -- action! drama! adventure! kissing!
David "Prodigy" Allyne/Tommy "Speed" Shepherd
I ship David/Tommy like it's my job. The two of them stuck in the world's worst superhero job, and Tommy pushing David into breathing fresh air and being a normal person, sort of? The greatest. I seriously could have read a run of them just being dorks at each other. But it would also be great to see them working together on a real superhero mission, fighting bad guys, hanging out reading comic books, whatever.
This is another one where I ship pretty much the whole cast one way or another, so background pairings are fine.
Moby Dick
NGL, I liked the boring whaling parts. I could've just hung out on the boat with those guys forever.
Ishmael/Queequeg
I have the least to say about these two, but don't think that it's because I enjoy them any less. It's one of those ships where you want to say 'BUT IT'S ALL RIGHT THERE, AND IT'S GLORIOUS.' Mentioning or showing Queequeg's tattoos would be A++.
I'd love an AU ending where Ishmael, IDK, hid Queequeg's survival for reasons maybe? Or just ignore the ending of the book, IDK, IDK.
Of course, anything set on the ship is fine if you don't want to mess with canon. Have them sharing a bowl of clam chowder! Or go completely AU! I love the way they accept each other, and their loyalty, and...they just make me happy, okay?
