"I'll have to thank McCoy," Sulu said, tipping his glass and taking a sip. "When he cured me, all I wanted was to get back to the bridge. I had no idea how bad things had gotten. I was really running around with my sword?"
"Oh, yes," Uhura grinned. "I believe you thought you were a French revolutionary. You told me you'd protect me because I was a fair maiden, and I said I was no such thing."
"Now, that's not true," Sulu grinned. "You're the fairest girl I know."
"You're flattering me," Uhura said, but she didn't complain further.
