Ukoku Sanzo with the character mu, as stolen from Wikipedia. "Mu" is the power of the Muten sutra, so it's appropriate on many levels.
I like to have a know-it-all icon at all times. This is Uther Pendragon from Merlin, ably and smugly portrayed by Anthony "Giles" Stewart Head. He's hot.
Ishida Uyruu from Bleach! At once almost the only character in canon with any common sense and a total dumbass. The kind of guy who decides to prove his superiority by baiting the most dangerous mothers in down with the blind faith he could do it. He's also very bright, an utter genius at sewing, and easy to fluster. I love this icon because it combines his arrogance with the slight absurdity of his character.
This was mostly chosen for my keywords, OR SO I AM TOLD, which are "wait when did the monkey get hot." Look at those abs! HE'S NOT A KID ANY MORE, FOLKS.

Chintsubu is the most awesome comic about penis switching ever written. Possibly the only comic about penis switching, but hey! Four schoolboys end up with switched penises after a bus accident. Toride and Ayase are cute and adorable and pretty boring, honestly. This is Iwabuchi and Kamiya, who pretend to hate each other-- their fight is actually what caused the accident-- and their mostly-unresolved sexual tension is hot as hell. It's up on MangaFox and I just realized there are some chapters I haven't read yet! Thanks for asking, synergic!
Watari Yutaka from Yami. Ever since I watched Yami I've had a Watari icon. I love him so. The words are actually a photoshop brush.
Green Arrow from Year One. I think it's my only American comics icon, at the moment.
This icon was created in wake of the Open Source Boob Project debacle. It's my feminism kiss-off icon for this journal.
Victor and Sierra, my favorite characters from Dollhouse. They are awesome amnesiacs and lovely together, and this icon sums up my mixed feelings about Dollhouse. I'm not sure what the hell they're doing, and I'm pretty sure they don't either. I think I'll be back next season, though, because Alexis Denishof. Damn your brilliant casting, Joss Whedon!
Nanny Ogg, from Discworld. A perenial horndog optimist, I love her because she's an old lady who gets to be unabashedly sexual, and the canon loves her for it. She's awesome for other reasons, too, mind you. :D
