Work and School
I am so happy at my internship at GROW! I am learning tons of stuff, and will be given more responsibilities as I make my way through the departments. Went to my first ISP (Individual Support Plan) meeting this morning, and my first staff meeting this afternoon. I'm sure it would be different if I had been there for some time, but everything is so fresh and new, and I'm learning different things avery day. It's really making me hopeful that as soon as I finish school, I will be able to work full time again. First day of classes went really well, just had two fifty-minute classes on Wednesday, Intro to Gerontology and Human Service Practice. The teachers seem nice, and the work will go much faster once I can buy my textbooks tomorrow. I still need to meet with my advisor, which is Monday afternoons, and find out who will be teaching Advanced Group Dynamics, my only evening class. That will happen on Tuesday. All in all, it has been a very successful couple of weeks, and I am looking forward to getting out to the club with girlygothic and chibi_kaz tomorrow night...
