Hey everyone who may or may not be reading my journal at this exact moment. It's been a really long time since I've posted an entry. So, on account of the fact that I've been home all day long and haven't really done anything, I've decided to post an entry to catch people up on the stuff going on with me... like anyone really cares.
Anyway, lately the only thing I've been concerned with is trying to get better. I've had a crappy flu/cold for the past five days. I came down with the sickness from hell on Wednesday night, and I've had it ever since. I stayed home from school on Thursday and Friday, and then again today. It's been crappy to say the least and now I have TONS of work to make up that I missed. My sickness is terrible, and I'm really hoping that my mom and I don't have H1N1, even though it would be pretty hilarious to say that I survived the apocalyptic illness. heh. A good thing about being sick is that I got a lot of time to think and chill out. Though, as it is with any sickness, there are a lot more cons than pros. Sadly, I didn't get to celebrate halloween at all, which is a big holiday for me. I love it. I love dressing up to be someone I'm not. It's cool.
I think I've sneezed more than a hundred times in the past hour. Every time I turn around I'm sneezing. The sad part is that my sneezes are really loud and crazy. My whole neighborhood can probably hear me sneeze. Oops.
Getting through this sickness has been pretty easy, considering my mom's sick too. We've been bumming around our house in our pjs all snuggled in giant blankets. Watching movies is also been a distraction from the illness. The other day I watched this movie, I don't remember what it was called, but it had Anne Hathaway [I hope I spelled that right] in it. Co-staring with Anne is Patrick Wilson. I bet no one reading this knows who he is, but let me tell you, I love him. His most famous thing so far has been Watchmen, where he played the second Night Owl, Dan. ^.^ I must say Dan is my favorite watchmen character... That sounds worse than I thought it would, oh well, I don't care, Dan's awesome... I can officially say that Dan has aided to my recovery.
As shameful as it is to say, Lady Gaga has also played a big part in my recovery. I've been listening to her non-stop. She's awesome. I love her. She's got wicked fashion and is quite talented. I know not everyone thinks that, but, come on, she wrote all of the songs on her album and she plays piano, quite well I might add. Also, her music has that beat that you can't deny. [insert joke here about chords you can't deny]<.< >.> Hopefully someone will get that joke...
I don't suppose I have that much else to say. Oh, except the other day, about a week ago, I would say, I finished my second book. YAY. Now I'm on a mini writing vacation. The only things I'm writing at the moment are stupid little fanfics for stuff and a story for the bandom h/c challenge. Writing vacations are good, and fun too. If you haven't tried to go on one recently, you should give it a try. It gives you a chance to drink some sweet-flavored fruit juice out of a martini glass with a bendy-straw.
