Hey f-list.... How's it going? Good, good...
I think I'll talk about Inception related things last and IRL related things first, because I always seem to forget what's going on in my real life if I don't.
Anywooo.... In the world of the living, things have been rather wobbly. My Grandmother, the one on my mom's side who had heart surgery last year is moving again, and my mother and I have to go help her out tomorrow. Don't get me wrong I love my grandma, she's great for a lot of reasons, but I don't want to spend my last Friday before school starts helping move her down the street.... On top of that on of my best IRL friends pretty much betrayed me. I won't say what she did, but I will say that I would NEVER EVER DO THAT TO ANYONE. So yeah, I'm still mad at her because of the shit she's trying to pull. Just because she has a boyfriend doesn't mean she gets to treat me like shit, I mean really.... On top of this I had two separate plans to go see a movie [guess which one] with two different people, and they both crapped out on me and said at the last minute that they couldn't go. Which was a fail. Also my mother has been slowly freaking out due to all of the stuff that's been going on with her. She decided after she got laid off last October that she would go back to school to get Vet Tech training. So she's in school now and has been freaking out because it's expensive and stuff for me is expensive [like senior photos, and school stuff] and we just basically have no money because her unemployment money is late this month... So that's a bit of a fail also. And it makes me sad that my mother is moping around the house being sad.
I don't have anymore real fails to tell you about, though I do have a slight fail from my library.... There's a book called "The Take" and it's by a woman named Martina Cole. I really would like to read it, after which I plan to watch the show/miniseries that was made about it. I checked the catalog for the library branches in my county and none of them have it. And it was a freak'n bestseller, you'd think they have it, but noooo. I suppose that's what I get for wanting to read books that aren't about pretty things like ponies and flowers.
Good news however is that I'm going to be posting some art soon, either on my art journal here on on my DA, probably both if i were to guess. I have many many Inception character concepts that aren't half bad in my opinion. I really like them in fact. I have a few more to do though, so it might take a few days. I have Ariadne, Mal, Cobb, and Arthur completed, and I'm working on Eames as we speak, I plan on having him finished by the end of the day... So after that I'll just have Saito, Yusuf, and Fischer left.... I really, truth be told, don't want to draw Yusuf or Saito.... Which is probably because of the fact that I don't stare at their faces as much as I stare at everyone elses' so I have a weak grasp of what they actually look like.
And in one last note before meme time is that I recently watched "Peacock" a few days ago. I thought it was a really lovely story. I thought the acting was amazing and that Cillian made a very pretty girl indeed. Ellen was also really good though. I really liked the way it was filmed and the style that it had. It reminded me of an old movie, which was very enjoyable. 10 out of 10 in my book... :]
MEME TIME. So put your meme hats on please... :]
Day 3 Your favorite scene...
Truth be told, I loved THE WHOLE DAMN THING. But notable scenes that I really liked were....
The AWESOME SCENE IN THE SPINNY HALLWAY WITH JGL KILLING IT! It was truly amazing, and it's just breathtaking. You really have no idea what is going on, and I love it. It's very stylized though, and I like it. :D
The scene where Ariadne is changing the dream and is doing AWESOME CRAP. I would probably give someone my left pinkie finger to see that scene in IMAX. I bet it was damn good. It looked good in a normal theater so I can only imagine what it would look like in a HUGE ASS theater.
The scene where INCEPTION actually takes place and poor Robbie Fischer is holding his windmill looking all sad and stuff. I love it because it's one of the most emotional scenes in the film and I'm a mushy girl like that.
Other than those things I really loved all of the banter between Eames and Arthur. They are so cute together! I wonder if they know they've started crazy stuff in the fandom.... I wonder if any of them even know there is a HUGE fandom full of....... people who like Inception.... We need a fandom name, you guys, we do...
