Good News Bad News
Over the past couple of months, my computer has been suffering from a problem that caused it to BSOD at least once a day after it booted up, with no idea what was causing it, and now the problem has gotten much worse in which it would require several reboots to get it to keep working throughout the day. The good news is that I'll be getting a new computer and I've already gotten all of my important files and the like onto USB drives. The bad news is that it'll take two weeks for it to arrive, so it'll put a hold on a lot of stuff I've been working on, and that includes the sporks I've been working on, both for das sporking and for here. I hope you guys understand and will be patient.
Correction: It arrives on this Thursday Tuesday. Yay!
That said, it does give me the chance to look into the materials I'm working with further to help make my reviews and sporks better, so that way when they go up, they'll be a little better. I do have a review that I should be finishing when the wait is over, and hopefully I'll be able to continue with working on a spork that I've been writing up specifically for this LJ. I'll start posting it once it's done (I'm currently at chapter 5 or so), but trust me, it's a series that I really wanted to rampage on, since it's not only seriously fucked up, but it messes with something near and dear to me: Greek mythology. That's right, it's the Goddess Test series by Aimee Carter. Yes, this includes the e-book only novella and the short story collection. Bet you can't wait for that--I know I can't.
