Bestival

I got back from Bestival yesterday, and damn, it was excellent. It's been a few years since I've partaken of the full festival experience, but I must say, I was especially impressed with this one. It wasn't very big, but there were loads of crazy little places to find and explore. Like the inflatable church, praise be!, where we got down to some serious 80's hits. Noddy out in full force on the air guitar. There was a 'come dancing' tent, for a bit of a ho-down or a spot of jive. There was a mysterious pathway into the woods, almost certainly infested by pixies. A rock & roll tent, a funky raggae place next to a giant wicker elephant, and a hidden dance tent leading off the Big Top. At the main stage, I got on down to the Scissor Sisters on Sat night with Bob & Oli. In short, it was a fun filled, sun fuelled, continuous party of a weekend.
Now I'm back, and working myself up for the four nights at work I have in store. Frankly, I can't be arsed. I miss Nikos, I miss Greece. The summer is coming to an end again. I'll soon be leaving the flat and moving back to the folks'. This will naturally have it's pros and cons. One advantage is that it will no doubt do wonders for my social life! I'm also determined to get back to kickboxing. And I'll get back to work on the Greek. I have to keep myself busy until November when I can take another week off and bugger off somewhere again... One bonus of this job seems to be that we have a ridiculous amount of annual leave. I should get booking.
