How it's going...
Um, entirely CRAZY !!
This is the end of the last week we've had Dez for the summer. It's been great, but also really hard - mostly because we've been swamped by wedding stuff and stressed by wedding stuff, and don't have as much vacation time left due to wedding stuff. *Sigh*
To her credit, she's been a real trooper! She's been understanding and is coming around on the wedding thing.
Her mom was apparently cordial, nice, laughing, reminiscing and asking about the wedding and honeymoon when Bob dropped off Dez for a weekend back with her mom. I can only be suspicious. My best guess is that someone (her husband?) gave her a LOT of grief over being so angry with Bob for getting re-married, when clearly she's moved on. So suddenly she's acting like she's moved on. We'll see. I can't help but be cynical with all that we've been through with her. But maybe possibly it'll be better...
Otherwise, just running ragged like chickens with our heads cut off. Which I'm told is really par for the course in a formal wedding. The countdown is now in DAYS, not weeks.
I'm reminded of Dory's Song in Finding Nemo...
