It's an absolutely glorious fall day, I got my hair done, had a lovely lunch with my cousin and the kids (who have been pretty well-behaved), and so far my gallbladder hasn't revolted over the meal, so all in all, it's a pretty good day. So in recognition that as bad as things have been, they're not 100% shitty, I'm not going to post a buzzkill entry. Instead, I'll post some recent pictures I've taken, including my shot for this week's Farktography (theme: Halloween), which is currently in first place (yay me!).
A. and I had a good time setting these ghosty pictures up. She did a great job of standing still until I told her to run out of the picture frame as fast as she could.
I took this shot last weekend with a special lens that gives the photo a kind of dreamy effect. Today is much like it was on the day I took this picture--cloudless sky of an amazing blue. The fall leaves against it are really beautiful.
A few more
I shot this photo for the Farktography "Bridges" theme. I used my spiffy wide angle lens that J. got me for our anniversary this year.
I still think bug sex is funny
I toured a cave in early October and got some interesting shots
