(no subject)
Well, Friday at work was okay. Tina’s off early on Monday, and that’s fine as I need to go early on Tuesday to get to the Cathedral to be a serving wench.
Craft night didn’t quite happen, but I went round to Lisa’s and was fed a very fine stuffed pepper (two in fact) and sat and frothed with her and Kev about Stuff. I did no crafting, but I had a very nice and relaxing evening with friends.
Saturday involved bleaching the bathroom, cleaning taps and mirrors, cleaning the oven and fridge, sweeping floors, putting things away, and putting some larp tat into the cupboard. The house is now cleaner, but not much tidier. Hey ho. That will happen later. At least the bathroom is no longer manky.
Having cleaned, I toddled into town to get some odds and ends, including some sort of body lotion from Lush, because I am having one of my “I am so unfeminine it is unfunny” moments, before heading to get my bus to Pater’s. Passed a pretty pleasant evening, not talking much and just listening to music and old Flanders and Swann LPs.
Having been dropped home at a reasonable time, I made it to Morrison’s to buy foodstuffs (and shower gel, which I squirted up my nose whilst seeing if it smelled nice), and then into the city to buy shampoo. There I met Cáitlin and Jos. Cáitlin asked me to be her bridesmaid/chief bridesmaid thing. She may be reconsidering as I pointed out this means my sense of humour and I will be sorting the hen party, but I think she took it bravely.
It’s a rotten day today, all chilly and damp and grey. Not sure what to do with myself, but I think another jumper or cardie is in order, or maybe putting the heater on.
