Yesterday I received the most awesome Consumerfest card from DM. Truly, it is a masterpiece, and is in pride of place on top of the telly.
Tonight I am meeting Stevie. Then going home to tidy and wrap presents. Mum is dropping in with some stuff I bought on the way to hers yesterday, and I am also going to decorate the house. Yes. Decorations. I bought 4 little sparkly black and sparkly silver little branchy things in Pouundland (again, looking ahead, millinery accessories) which can go on the table Chris has just lent me and be my interior Consumerfest concession. Woot. How can anyone say I'm not festive?
Tomorrow I am meeting Caitlin for some shopping (window shopping, in my case as Payday isn't til Tuesday), then collecting a Jos, showing them flatlet and feeding them, and then possibly hitting some cheap shitty dive for cheap drinks. Festive.
Sunday will involve baking mince pies and cupcakes for Tuesday, as Monday is Dad's visit so baking then is out. Tuesday I will have to buy the mulled wine and stuff on the way home.
I really want to make bread, but don't have any reason to, and won't be home much to eat it. Home made bread doesn't keep very long. Ah well.
Not even four o'clock. I am not impressed by how slowly today is progressing.
