Oooooh, I'm dead thrilled!
Nearly finished chapter 14 of Names! (finally)
and here's a teaser for all of you out there who may be interested....
I was shaken. Was this true? Had the Dark Lord struck to the very core of the fragile family unit that called itself The Order of the Phoenix?
And on another note:
The Golden man
In a distant land far, far away,
And across the raging seas,
There lived a man in a forest glade
Surrounded by old oak trees.
This man was a man with a terrible curse;
A gift from mistreated friends.
His touch was jinxed and much, much worse
His fingers were gold at the ends.
The poor man’s curse would last forever
And made him both grey and old.
And touch another he knew he could never,
For his touch turned people to gold.
Because of this curse the forest glade
Was filled with a radiant light.
From golden statues his fingers had made
Of people frozen in fright.
His wife she stood, all stiff and cold
And his little girl by her side.
Both were gleaming all of gold
And neither could move if they tried.
Not a day went by, he did not lament
The terrible curse on his head.
And I am told it only went
Away when he was cold and dead.
The randomness!
Anyways, the ending is weak but otherwise I quite like this.
