                Brendon had been tossing and turning for what felt like hours trying to get comfortable.  On top of the increase in Things to Worry About, his body was aching and the baby was restless.  Theresa and Dr. Pierson assured him this was normal, but as much of a relief as that was, it still sucked.

He eventually gave up trying to sleep

Oh, oh, oh. So, so, so, so very wonderful on so many levels. I knew big bang would give us some lovely epic fics but this goes beyond epic, like epically epic or something.
I started crying 5 separate times, which I'm pretty sure is a record. And I've probably gone through every emotion under the sun with Bren here, I know some of what he's been through in this and it's amazing exactly how well you've captured it in writing.

Quite probably my favourite Brendon ever here. He was still his cute, clingy ADHD self, but with the growing up and realisation that parenthood will bring.
And definitely a wonderful characterisation on Shane too, one thing I said to kaytvengeance on MSN during reading was that I forget a lot of the time that Shane's older than them and it was nice of you to write that in. They were very natural together and although I wanted to hate him for being so careless with the tapes I just couldn't.

And thank you for not just blithely saying "oh, btw guys can get pregnant" the whole arc of acceptance and not on different peoples sides worked really well.

And Ryan, bless him, just so sad for him and everything and just the way Bren didn't go fuck it and kiss his pants off was so so real.

And Haley being the wonder that I've always figured her to be.
And Keltie being cool about it too, I love when someone writes nice Kelts rather than making her out to be super bitch or whatever.

And I admit I wanted to whack Pete for a bit there but he ended up good in the end too.

And when Bren talked to his parents and so many other talking to peoples was both sad and not for different reasons.

And the way you ended it that they're just making music still and being happy and everything and I'm seriously starting to cry again just thinking about it.

And lots of flails and such in this comment and it's just so so lovely and definitely one of the best fics I've ever read across any fandom.

Thanks for writing it and I'm sure it'll be in a fair amount of peoples hearts and minds for a good while.

Thank you so, so much. I'm really excited that so many people love Brendon here. He was a joy to write and I was hoping his characterization would be solid and work out well. And Shane was tough, too, because when I started this I had almost no idea what he was like. I'm really glad their relationship worked for you and that you didn't hate him!

Ryan broke my heart so many times while writing this and writing Haley and Keltie was so much fun (they are my favorites and I adore them both to pieces).
