Downtime...
Well, sidehack is down b/c of a move so no mail for me right now. It's terrible because as soon as I know I can't check my email that's all I want to do! Ah well, hope things go well for the admins. They do a great job.
Trouble shooting galore at work. Test, check, hmmm, re-test, re-check....ah HA! Proceed. Slow going but I want to make sure things get done right and we have everything we need to move on. Ever since I started here and started doing "worthwhile" work, I'm all like "is this good enough?" or "Could I get a better product yield?" Makes me proud to do quailty work. :) Too bad that biology is a slooooow science. Lots of waiting, which is what I'm doing now.
Looking for suggestions for what to cook for the party at Jay and Ian's. I'll probably be making some type of desert or cookie. Got a list of the crazy Bonci allergies, anyone else allergic to something weird? I'm mainly concerned if there are walnut allergies. Most of my recipes have walnuts (finely ground so that there are almost no traces of actual nuts), even the almond cookies use walnuts instead of almonds (makes the cookie softer and almond flavor is added).
Right now I'm thinking my white chocolate biscotti, Italian chocolate cookie (simple, and the only one with actualy chucks of walnuts), ricotta pie (for Rel, since it's an Italian cheesecake)...so many possibilities but those are at the top of the list.
Need to help Ian and Rel with characters for Lord Soth's game. Hell, I still need to figure out what I want to play. Thinking about playing a girl since the comment of "you cross play too much" was throw at me.
Late 1500s + girl = hard time figuring out what to do
Ah well, may make my way to Worcester tonight. Otherwise it'll be a lonely night at home.
