...and I Thought It Meant Driving Instructor.

It's a Sunday, I'm bored so when an email asks me to do a career-oriented quiz, I (sadly) jump at the chance. After all, the last quiz I did told me I had a 90pt compatibility with Gryffindor and hey, I was actually expecting Ravenclaw, so maybe I don't know me as well as I thought.
Anywho, my results stand thus:

Driver Analysers are task-oriented people who don’t like to spend a lot of time talking or attending meetings. You are in control of your emotions and remain cool and less interested in people than the task at hand. As a combination of opposite styles, you are results-oriented and at the same time you are driven to be accurate and precise. This combination is powerful and inventive.

Driver Analyser types tend to look towards the future. You tend to think differently, more creatively, more outside the realm of the ordinary. This keeps you motivated and focused. Boredom and repetition are your worst nightmare. Because you are forward-looking you are unique in your ability to consider past, present and future needs. Driver Analysers are often instrumental in change. With perfectionist tendencies, you are a talented planner. You are able to analyse and solve problems. You do it your way and will often arrive at a solution that is untested.

As a Driver Analyser you tend to make decisions about the simple stuff quickly but prefer to take longer to evaluate the situation before you decide on more complex issues. You enjoy constantly looking for new ideas and might even keep a pen and paper by your bedside in case you wake up with an idea or in your car to record thoughts as you travel. A voice memo recorder is often a Driver Analyser’s essential tool.

As a Driver Analyser your ideal career involves having a variety of work that is hands on, detailed and requires problem solving. You may find it more rewarding to pursue jobs in factual, technical industries where your expertise in dealing with logic and facts is most valued, rather than people-oriented jobs.

Don't get me wrong, I can empathise with people but I prefer to work alone and a lot of what this says fits me perfectly, I hate routine, I love being creative and I do tend to be a little perfectionist and slower to complete certain tasks that I want to do well.
So. There it is. Apparently I'm on the right track to be a writer :)

real life, ramble
