the living book house

I have decided without a doubt that my house is a "living book" house.

Let me explain.

While I enjoy my books being "alive" and well loved this can get desperate sometimes because of my constant need for them. For example one of my books I need for reference might have "slipped into the kitchen for a snack and ended up on the table". Or that novel I was reading "was looking for the phonebook and was lost under the couch". Or my personal favorite, the book "took itself to the bathroom for some reading material during #2".

Usually my really really important books understand how important they are so they are no longer with me. They understand they have to circulate to help the betterment of humanity.

I'm all for equal rights so I've actually given some of my books "jobs". For instance I have employed two books as the honorary "DVD player breezeway" helping my DVD player breathe easier. Some of my books have been doing parttime work as "poison oak scratchers". Hey, it's a nasty job but someone has to do it. Books never usually complain and hell, they show up for work everyday.

However my journals have to be the bitchiest books I own. But that's probably status quo.

But in local news we went to visit the holy and reverend Monica yesterday for our monthly eucharist in the fire spirit of Monica. She was in rare form and fighting with Billy, which is really funny to watch live. I want Monica to start the "Holy church of Monica with ass beatings and signs following". I would so totally be a Monican and I would devote myself to the life of Monica and take a vow of silence.

But besides that everything is bland as usual. I'm going to work today sadly. But my "work problem" as I'll dub it is not there currently so my shift may go easier but who can say. My clients were being turdburglars last week because of the sudden relief so I may be walking back into a war.

monica, work, books
