It's been *way* too long.
Shoulda updated Sunday night, since I did stuff, no?
Ah well, that's about the only day I've done anything. Running around, preparing to put in for a passport. Oh my gosh, that photo *really* sucks. Maybe I should go and try to get another done, one where I don't look all shiny like a new minted penny.
*grin*. We've been getting those shiny new minted pennies in at work. My fellow cashiers are slightly impressed by them. I've been caught saying 'oooh, pretty', too. Well, you can't blame me, those and the new quarters are the shiniest things in the drawer, and sparkly things tend to grab my attention.
Sunday I met up with nightwolfwriter, wishweaver, and mollymorrison at a local mall. Got to go to DuClaw brewery, but didn't touch the brewery stuff. Had to drive, yanno, and I don't trust myself with alcohol in the system. Aside from that, tried their Caesar salad. It was good. Not the best I've had, rather weak dressing, but the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the cheese was fresh and delicious, and the croutons went crunch properly. So it passes.
nightwolfwriter is being kind enough to help me out with employment issues. We're looking at a place, and he's trying to get information on how to make my resume look prettier so they hire me. :D It's very gracious and kind, and all good karma points.
Then a friend and I went to see Star Wars III. Hm, IV through VI make a lot more sense now. I kinda fidgeted a lot, though, and had to keep biting my tongue to keep myself from yelling out hints to the screen. And had a couple Alice in Wonderland flashbacks. Is it just me, or is Palpatine's assistant, the blue guy, very much invoking the Caterpillar from Alice? And the flower planet, that is *so* the garden when Alice was stuck at a few inches tall. I was all giggling, and such.
Ah well, gotta go to work today, in a department I'm not very fond of. Ick, ick, ick. Que sera, sera. Have fun, all!
