Since everyone else has knee horror stories this week, I'll add mine:

I tore a bit of cartilage loose about a week and a half ago, and the bit is now floating around free just at the bottom of the joint. It only really hurts when I kneel, so I didn't pay much attention to it for a while. ("Really hurts" = hurts more than normal. Since my knees always hurt, anything less than "can't walk" doesn't really get my attention these days.)

I did finally talk to a doctor last Friday - and was told "eh, it happens". PT for a few weeks, ice it when it's sore, wait for it to reattach. Come back if it gets worse.

However, meanwhile, there's this chunk of stuff floating around inside my knee, and every once in a while, it will decide to move. Not painful, really. Just feels really nasty and wrong to feel something moving inside. Ick!
