Take our hands out of control.

I've been 21 for a whole day now. I know. Exciting stuff. Went to dinner at the Niagra - mainly because last Wednesday when I told Tom I asked him how he'd feel if we just rocked up to his work place where he proceeded to tell me that it "would be the worst day ever" and I thought "Great."

obstacle12 and
the_saucy_minx went off somewhere for a really long time at the start - they claim it was 'Coles' to 'buy stuff' so Andrew can 'get out some money' but it sounds suss to me :-P and sure Alyse said she's 'never going to walk to Coles' again but still....
It also occured to me that my chain of friends are really weird, and it only just hit me when I was actually having a conversation at the dinner table with Jess, Mara, Martin and Angus laughing uncontrollably in the wings about 'losing' your 'anal virginity' for an obscene amount of time. None of us were actually saying that we have been in this situation but then Tain started going on in detail about it and that too also sounded suss. It was reaffirmed when Jess said "You seem to know a little too much about anal sex Martin." but once again he denied. Then we started discussing about how I was at 'crotch height' and that I see some weird stuff (which...gentlemen... I'd watch what sort of underwear you purchase) and then Angus tried to tell us why you need to wear boxers and briefs equally. Then Alison yelled something about how the other end was also discussing underwear.... Yeah I remember everything - and unlike Thomas I'm not going to deny my drunkeness because I mixed a lot of drinks and ...well... I looked kinda stupid. There appeared to be a lot of man-hating for a while there.
Also reaffirms how I cannot understand how people can drink excessively (or generally) every day and can put up with the feeling of crapness.

Got a lot of books... such as:
a classic from 1967 called 'The Womanly Art To Self-Defense: Women - You need never be afraid again. If you can read, you can protect yourself.' (by far the funniest book I've ever seen/read)
a narrative about... the history of Australian toilets from 1966 (can you tell both these were from Martin)
a book about shoddy superstitions and odd beliefs
Silence Of The Lambs
a book called 'Choke' by Chuck Palaniuk which, on the front says that 'Choke is Fight Club for sex addicts'

I like books.

the_saucy_minx is coming on radio tonight as our 'non cross-promotional' guest. Yay!
