Ahhh, I love listening to some BLCDs.
Uh, this post may contain spoilers...
Utsukushii Koto - Sugita Tomokazu x Suzuki Tatsuhisa
After listening to this, I desperately hope this title will be licensed by June manga. I rarely listen to a blcd if there's little to no H scenes, but after reading other reviews, I felt compelled to listen. My gods, it was so sad and beautiful! Tatsu plays Matsuoka, a man who's good at his job and is very popular, but in secret he crossdresses on his free times at night. With a wig, make up and a dress "she" attracts the attention of men! Wow! With the help and kindness from a stranger, "she's" able to return home after winding up shoeless and pennyless. That stranger turns out to be Hirosue, played by SugiTomo, a social reject who's treated like crap by his superior at the same work place as Matsuoka's, yet he never complains out loud. Hirosue falls in love with this strange girl, completely unaware that "she" is really a he. I guess Matsuoka pitied the fool and decides to keep up the crossdressing and let him dream. It's like, Hirosue is shifted from social reject to a lucky guy with a pretty "woman." But, once the truth is out, oh the emotional agony! It's really hard to walk away from a story like this, and this blcd is indeed a rare gem. Tatsu really excels in emotional scenes, I kid you not. He just wins in that area. This BLCD made me interested in SugiTomo afterwards. He truly made Hirosue sound awkward and insecure, yet so sweet. Good job, gentlemen! I love this already. And the fact that a nice LJ user is providing translations, I have a better understanding of this story. Thanks,
gabakane! :D
Itoshii Koto - Sugita Tomokazu x Suzuki Tatsuhisa
In "Utsukushii Koto" the story is told from Matsuoka's POV, whereas in "Itoshii..." it's told from Hirosue's. One would think things would go smoothly after "Utsukushii..." but that little thing called insecurity broke these two men apart, and Matsuoka really took Hirosue's rejection, er, rejections personally to the point of changing from a man in love to cold and indifferent. I felt the emotional pain in this drama than in "Utsukushii" that I wanted to cry. Damn, once again Tatsu was magnificent when Matsuoka gets heartbroken from rejection. Normally Tatsu is casted as a high schooler, but not in this series! Yay for no type casting! :D
Jigoku Meguri - Morikawa Toshiyuki x Terashima Takuma, Hatano Wataru, Suzuki Tatsuhisa, Miki Shinichirou
THIS is what I was waiting for! The moment I saw the cast listing, I was excited! I was even more excited after knowing that the drama CD is from a manga, which is currently being scanlated and chapter 1 is done. Can't wait for the rest! :D Anywho, Morimori plays Enma (lord of the underworld basically) who happens to be in love with the human employee of hell Takimura, voiced by Takkun. I loves ice queen ukes. Waccha and Tatsu as Ubou and Abou respectively pretty much provide comic relief, and boy, did they make me laugh! XD I still don't know who MikiShin played, but when I heard his voice I squee'd. I'm still hyped over Waccha and Tatsu when their characters are in their demon forms (Ubou bull-like, Abou horse-like) and how they sound in those forms. I laughed harder when they were doing rock/paper/scissors over who would take care of Takimura, whom they're quite attached to. XD XD XD
The freetalks tickle me everytime when the actors laugh. Me thinks Waccha was getting teased some more. Waccha is such a woobie. ^___^

Well, this is all I can think of at the moment. I'll either make a different post or add some more by editing. I don't knooow! ~.~
